Environmental testing for crop protection products
For the Crop Protection industry, Smithers Viscient offers a variety of services to support regulatory submissions in the United States (Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act — FIFRA), Europe (EU Directive 91/414/EEC for Plant Protection Products), Canada (Pest Control Products Act and Regulations) and Japan (Agricultural Chemicals Regulation Law). Services include ecotoxicology, avian toxicology, environmental fate, metabolism, residue, analytical, and product chemistry, consulting, and endocrine testing, including in vitro toxicology, in vivo toxicology, and in vivo ecotoxicology. In addition, we provide non-GLP screening studies for pesticide discovery.
